LSZH FR Polyolefin Sheath Compound
With competitive price and timely delivery, SUNUA sincerely hope to be your supplier and partner.
LSZH FR (Low Smoke Zero Halogen Flame Retardant) Polyolefin Sheath Compounds are specialized materials used in cable manufacturing. These compounds are designed to provide enhanced safety by emitting minimal smoke and no halogen gases when exposed to fire. They are commonly used in environments where fire safety and minimal toxic emissions are critical, such as in public buildings, transportation systems, and data centers. More question Contact us.

What Are the Properties of Polyolefin Sheath Material?
Low Smoke Emission:
Safety in Fire: Produces very little smoke when burned, which is crucial for visibility and breathing in emergency situations.
Improved Evacuation: Facilitates safer evacuation during fire incidents by reducing smoke density.
Zero Halogen:
Non-Toxic Emissions: Halogen-free materials do not release harmful halogen gases (like chlorine or bromine) during combustion.
Environmental and Health Safety: Reduces the risk of acid gas exposure, which can be corrosive and harmful to health.
Flame Retardant:
Fire Resistance: Designed to prevent the spread of flames along the cable, enhancing overall fire safety.
Compliance with Standards: Meets various international fire safety and flame retardancy standards.

Mechanical Properties:
Durability: Offers good mechanical strength and flexibility, making it suitable for a wide range of cable applications.
Abrasion and Chemical Resistance: Resistant to physical wear and chemical exposure, enhancing the lifespan of cables.
Ease of Processing:
Extrudability: Can be easily processed using conventional extrusion techniques, making it practical for large-scale manufacturing.
Consistency: Provides uniform performance and quality in cable production.
The Difference Between LSZH and PVC Cables
Low smoke, zero halogen (LSZH) or Halogen-free, flame retardant (HFFR) compound is the main material to produce safety cable.
Halogen free solutions that fulfil both mechanicals, flame and processibility are very challenging.
High filled materials are required for high flame resistance. Some conditions during long terms applications requires environmental stress cracking resistance. Our solutions are tested on such severe conditions of moisture, temperature and mechanical stress on low and medium volage.
We offer new CPR regulation materials for insulations and sheathing application.
We also offer both Copper LAN and Optical Fibre solutions.
High processability, flame and chemical resistance are nowadays the main quests in the market.
Our materials are designed upon customers both available equipment and general specifications.
