Your Position: Home - Hardware - Drilling Granite or Marble Countertops
Hi, Was wondering what kind of mortar to use on my floor in the bathroom. I've been told here that I would need to mud the floor and am not sure what to use to do so. In addition, is there anything else I need to do to floor this room other than tar it, chicken wire it then mud it? The sub-floor is slatted and diagonal 1x6 with joists at 16 o.c. The room is 5'x9'. In addition, I'd like to know what is the name of the product that is used to tape between durock and sheetrock? Thanks a million, looking forward to finishing this lil project!

Marble core bits are a hollow cylindrical bit that is the cutting part of a core drill. It leaves a cylinder shape which often is used as sink holes or to feed lines and pipes. These marble hole saws and cutters are made up of a concentration of diamonds and metal bonds in order to cut the hard surface of the granite. Marble core bits are occasionally Vacuum Brazed or Electroplated. The Diamond Tool Store offers two options, dry and wet diamond drill bits.
