1.Appearance

3.Fineness

The fineness of HPMC generally has 80 mesh and 100 mesh, there is 120 less mesh. The finer the better, because the finer the fineness, the better water retention.

4.Specific Gravity

The heavier the specific gravity, the heavier the better. The great specific gravity is generally due to the high content of hydroxypropyl inside, and the higher the content of hydroxypropyl is, the better the water-holding performance will be.
