The tricycle is easy enough to assemble after some trial and error. I wish the handle bars adjusted longer or higher up I am 5'1" and still kick the back of the tricycle when we go out on walks. The shade provides ample shade which is nice on hot sunny days. My daughter is 20 months old and loves riding the tricycle and ringing the bell, my only real complain is the foot rest does not come down all the way and remains at a 45 degree angle away from her feet. This makes it very difficult for my daughter to comfortably rest her feet and she is still too short to reach the pedals so her feet just hang. The frame of the bike is sturdy but the baskets feel like their made of cheap plastic. We haven't used the baskets much so I am not sure how it will hold up to the wear and tear of a toddler.
