The so-called "shuttering magnets" are primarily utilized in precast concrete plants to secure shuttering during the concreting process. These magnets consist of a durable steel housing designed to protect the internal magnet system, which includes neodymium magnets. Activating the magnet is done through a central push button, which allows it to cling to metallic surfaces. To remove the magnet, a release lever can be utilized, making the magnet detach from the surface. The installed steel springs ensure that the magnet remains on top of the metal housing to prevent inadvertent adhesion. The underside of the magnet box is sealed, guarding the internal mechanism against contamination.

Magnetic Systems for Formwork - IMA

Magnetic formwork systems are compact and lightweight, enabling the adaptation of multiple applications within a single formwork device. These systems boast excellent qualities, significantly reducing preparation time, which has led to their growing use in the construction sector. They offer permanent magnet fixation and fastening elements for metal shutters. Additionally, they can support various columns, preventing deformations, making them an efficient and cost-effective solution.

Our experience in the field of magnetism allows us to propose innovative magnetic solutions such as boxes, blocks, triangles, profiles, or magnetic walls tailored for the construction industry. These systems enable the accommodation of multiple applications within any formwork device. IMA adheres to the strictest control systems during manufacturing to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.

Known as precast concrete magnets, these formwork magnets offer a more compact structure with reliable clamping forces and smoother surfaces compared to traditional methods, which results in more efficient construction.

Magnetic formwork systems are categorized into elastomer and polyurethane formwork and magnetic formwork accessories.
